Evening all. I'm Larry from the Poconos of pennsylvania. Army guy, Hunter, dad, the usual. I just bought a ruger precision 6mm creedmoor and I'm waiting to buy some glass for it. I'm new to long range shooting. Been shooting since I was a little kid, but never with a long range deal. Should be interesting. I'm looking forward to learning from the good folks of this site as I venture into this sport. Just thought I'd take a minute and say hi.

My kids, boy 18 could care less about shooting, boy 13 loves to shoot and would do it daily if we had time, and girl 10 loves to shoot as long as it's at a target and not an animal. Haha
It should be said a shooter and his money will soon be parted, or something like that. Welcome shooter..

Quite a few of us on here practice and compete at Bowmanstown. I take care of the Kunkletown range.
I'm a member at bowmanstown and shoot there quite a bit. I had no idea they did competition shoots there. Do you know the great long range shooter Mr. Gower?
Rog is my neighbor and mentor. He's the one responsible for my addiction to SR BR. IBS score shoots are monthly from May through Oct.
That's awesome. I met him a few weeks ago at his house when I was picking up some reloading dies from him. He's a wealth of knowledge and very willing to help a new shooter like me. I will be seeing him again soon to help me get my 6cm set up. And I'm a new dumb ass here so I don't know what all of these acronyms mean yet. Sorry.
Larry, I live in Stroudsburg and Rog and I shoot 1000yd Br comp. at Williamsport. We both broke into the sport Like Lamar at the short range score and group game. Have been an IBS member sine 1980 also a life member at Bowmanstown. Have you considered the BR (bench rest) game?
