ANOTHER CHECK MARK ON THE RIGHT FOR WSMNUT - ODCR

Bill Norris

Back in the Day
Over at my buddies house a bit ago comparing the chamber dimensions of mine and his new builds from WSMNUT - ODCR and was not surprised at all to find both are identical. This comes in comparison to other chamberings he has done for me and other friends here locally in the past including (4) 260AI, (2) 30BR and (2) 6BRX spread out over considerable periods of time. His attention to this detail and all the other aspects of building custom rifles speaks volumes for Zack Donovant. Load details along with pics of tight groups as usual will be coming soon. Thank you Brother for all you do and doing it well.

Your latest project just hit my place.
I got a couple ideas....

Zack takes pride in his work. Waver a little in that and your name is ruined. Zack is proud of his work and will not waiver. As I mention in another post, your name is all you got, so be proud and don't ruin it. Reputation are hard to build, but so easy to destroy because of a dollar. Seen it many time in the custom 1911 world.

Zack is a great guy with great morals.

Tom

Put this bad boy in my blue stock temp. until the original one is back from Brett (The Paint Wizard)

It's always good to hear of a good vendor, this one goes in the data base!

Oh no now it is 1/4 .25 bore madness. I have only been asking for a non-wild cat SAAMI factory rifle in .25 with heavy long for bore bullets with a fast twist for 36 years.

In fact what the site before 24hour camp fire that was all the rage int he 1990's online? The one that went bye-bye really quickly in spite of it's popularity? I was even asking for faster twist rate in the 25-06 back then.

I love how no one will lift a finger or try to get the people together to force a thing to happen with our dumpster fire SAAMI system but get all excited for an endless string of wild cats.

Man-up for once and instead of just being a bunch of geek with good machinist skills affect a real change. IF I could do I would but a lot of you on this site have the knowledge and the ability to be agents of change to fix the garbage system we have that keeps SAAMI approved cartridges static and technologicaly backwards and crippled for life. I am sure it is a money thing and a voting rights thing!

SAAMI should serve the people not the elite in the industry that profit from it! It should serve to move things forward not to hold us all back!

Modern technology and cartridge design should be forced to update old cartridges when the newer design and improvements can be made to safely function in older cartridges like faster twist rates and better throat designs! It should not cost a dime to update an exhisting design especially when the new design does not affect backwards cabtability with older designs like improved throats that reduce back pressure and better align bullets tot he bore.
