Another 6 BR Improved

A friend of mine took a 6MM Norma Dasher reamer and ran it in short to form a variation of the 6mm BRA. He ran it so that the body length is .028" longer than the typical 6 BRA. I am anxious to see how it performs. Good shooting...James

Why .028" was there some thinking behind this?

When you chamber with a dasher norma reamer and use a 6br case to set head space by using the end of the neck to check it, it turns out to be about .028 longer at the shoulder. Not trying to come up with a new case, it was the only reamer I had that would come close to a 6BRA, but I guess it worked Bart set the new world record with it. Just so happens that this is what the MAN Bart Sauter used to set the 600 yd HG record with! Wow! I think it’s a winning combination

I like it very efficient.

It looks very similar to a brdx that I have. My brdx chamber is .032 longer than my bra chamber.
