Annual pd shoot with my old man last week. Great time as usual. This years cartridge list was 6 dasher, 20 vt, 6 ar turbo, and the 223. I have a 22BR built on a trued 40x, 15tw Hart barrel. I shoot 50gr Speer TNTs at a little over 4000FPS. I shot a chuck a while back at 120 paces and literally tore the booger in half. Those bullets are literally explosive. I also use 40gr Nosler BTs at 4200+ FPS and amazingly enough they do not exit the chuck at 150 paces or so. They turn it into a big water balloon. IMHO the 22BR is the finest varmint cartridge ever designed.
