Announcement: Jeff the "Answerman" Joins our Team

We're proud to announce that Jeff W. has joined our crew at AccurateShooter.com as our designated Answerman. In this role, Jeff will provide help to Forum Members via email or private message (PM). Jeff has actually been working behind the scenes for a couple months now, responding to emails and helping folks with our Forum features. Jeff has been learning the ins and outs of the site, helping your Forum Boss respond to the many questions posed by readers every week.

Jeff is not a computer technician or a gunsmith, so he can't provide answers to technical questions. But he can help if you have basic questions about registering for the Forum, setting up your profile settings, starting threads, posting classified ads, and attaching photos to your posts.

What the Answerman Will Do:

• Answer questions about Forum Registration. For example,
  - How do I register?
  - What are the answers to the security questions?
  - What if I don't get the verfication email?
  
• Answer questions about Forum Rules and Policies.
  
• Answer questions about basic Forum functions. For example,
  - How do I start a thread?
  - How do I search threads?
  
• Explain how your Forum Profile Settings work.
  
• Answer questions about attachments and photos. For example,
  - How do I re-size my photos?
  - Why can't my large (oversize) photos be attached?
  
• Explain the procedures and rules for posting classified ads.
  
• Help locate gear sources. (For example, if someone asks "Where can I buy a Benchsource Annealer?", Jeff can help you track that down.)
  
• Provide links to our Daily Bulletin, Technical Articles, Cartridge Guides, YouTube videos and more...
  

NOTE: MOST of these issues are covered in detail in the existing STICKIED INFO THREADS so please read the INFO Threads BEFORE before asking the Answerman for assistance.


What the Answerman Will NOT Do:

• Run QuickLOAD simulations for you.
  
• Provide specific load recommendations for your gun.
  
• Recommend specific gunsmiths or stock-builders.
  
• Comparison shop product prices for you.
  
• Get involved in legal squabbles or customer service issues with commercial companies.
  
• Chase down classifieds sellers/buyers for you.
  
• Tell you how to fix your computer, fill out tax forms, or pick the winning lottery number.

NOTE: The Answerman is NOT your "free lawyer" to fix problems that arise with buying/selling in the Classifieds. We have posted very extensive guidelines on how to protect yourself on either end of the transaction. Before buying or selling anything in the Classifieds, please read and heed the STICKIED instructions and guidelines. We can't do much, if anything, to help you after the fact.

Jon, the goal is to take some of the load off Paul so he can devote his time to finding fun and cool stuff for us to peruse and argue about and have fun with and hopefully learn something from.

Uthink, fashion?...you know eh! My daughter calls me a fashion emergency while my son she calls a fashion catastrophe!!!?!?!? I just turned 60 so my thought is if you aren't having fun...don't do it. Hopefully, I will get to meet a bunch of you guys over the next few years at shoots and stuff...should be a lot of fun.

Okay, okay, time to get down to business with the Answerman. As the old Jewish man said after a long boring discussion. Um, the discussion was not about long boring. The discussion was boring and long. "I have a kvestion".
With this new stampede to buy and sell brass and bullets, can the ad section devoted to tools, dies, rests, loading components be split up so that the bullets and brass has it's own category and not move everything else to the bottom all the time?
