Annealing

I am using once fired 6BR Lapua brass to neck down to 22BR and would like to know......should I anneal before or after running them thru the full sizer 22 BR die?
Thanks

A side note, I've had better luck using a F/L non-bushing die while necking down for my 22 BR's

Anneal before forming. Helps give uniform metal spring back resulting in more uniform shoulder set back. Easier forming. Annealing after forming might negate the neck tension created by a particular bushing diameter. In any case they would be sized the same.

Don't know if anyone is interested but I just annealed some 6BR cases with a hand held torch rotating in a drill. Tried to over heat one case to see what it looked like. It took 20-22 seconds for the neck to turn very red with room lights on. The necks were easily crushed with pliers, to soft. I don't shoot in competition I just want to prevent neck splitting. I have 200 cases and 2200 shots fired. Just got 2 split necks after about 10 reloads and 5 years on the cases. Just started annealing this year 10 seconds with the hand held torch and I am willing to accept them as annealed to keep life simple. My only problem is finding GHs.
