Annealing? what come first

Say you are annealing after every firing.
Do you?
A. Re-size then anneal
B. Anneal then re-size
C. Re-size, anneal and then re-size

What works best?

I clean, anneal, resize, trim to length every 3-5 firings ...

Anneal first then resize, if you do it the other way around, you will have to resize again due to your brass expanding due to the heat.

I think the problem of resizing before annealing is that you will be resizing brass that is still work hardened and so more spring back. Your headspace will be less than what you will get than say on brass resized after annealing when the brass has been softened by the annealing.

I would think you would get more consistent resize and headspace if you resize only after annealing. That is my theory anyway but would like to hear from the experts.
