Annealing preference ?

So I dug out a gun that’s been used off and on for hunting. It’s just a factory rifle that hammers with winchester brass 22/250 favor. I’m out of loaded rounds for it and of course I didn’t write down what i did with the brass I don’t know if it’s been annealed or not. Would it be better to anneal it for possibly the second time or skip it and anneal the next time ? Personally I don’t think either way will matter with this thing

If you're annealing the brass the same way (e.g. same temperature and same amount of time) for the second time, nothing is going to change the brass from what it was before. You'd have to use higher heat and/or for a longer time to make any changes to previously annealed brass.

I wouldn't hesitate to anneal the brass again. Though, if you usually anneal after every firing, it's not really going to hurt to miss one. . . especially for a hunting gun.
