have a local Lowes and Home Depot so if you have make n model ... kool

what kind of dwell time are you using for 6.5x47 brass, understand use of temp paint but wanna make sure i,m in ball park

TIA

I just got mine from Benchsource last month and love it. When you get it, read the instructions and they have the model # of the torches you need made by burnzomatic. Regular propane is the fuel of choice. ;D

You will also need some Tempilac temp. paint 650 degree, all of which is explained in the instructions. ;D

Call them if you have any questions, "Great Customer Service" ;D

I was told by the owner to get 750 degree for the neck and 450 for the body.I did it and it works great.Cant hardly keep up with it.

You can make do with just the 450F paint. Just paint a strip on the body of the case, when it get about 3/8 to 1/2 down the body you are good to go. About 5-6 seconds is all it takes.

Distance from flame makes a big difference on dwell time. The directions and pictures with benchsource are very discriptive. Use 350 tempilaq on case head for shorter cases BR ect. Case heads heat up quickly with these short cases. Longer cases are not a problem. You do not want case head anywhere near 350.

I finally used my Bench Source for the first time yesterday. On the advice of other forum members I bought plain Jane bernz-a-matic torches. They worked great with the machine. Like others mentioned, follow the directions, get some Tempilaq, and practice on old brass. I can see with a little time and practice it will be a snap to set up.
