Annealeez wheel measurements

To anyone using the annealeez annealing machine with the standard wheel kit... could you measure the case feeder and rolling wheel and tell me the diameter and length please? And possibly how far out it sets from the machine body? As well as if you have any idea what material the wheel is made of. This info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I have 2 sets of wheels.
diameters vary, but seems average is 1.845
length of wheels are 1.180
The machine I have they sit approx 1/8" from the frame.
I dont have a clue what they make them from. I did have issues with the blue rubber coated rolling wheels, cases would not rotate consistently.
I removed the blue rubber or silicone coating and adhered 80 grit paper to them, they work much better this way.

Me too...I used 220 grit and cases rotate nicely. On problem I had was short case got hot enough they melted some material from the cut out in the wheel that picks up the annealed case and removing the stuff was a royal PITA. I glued a thick piece of aluminum foil in that cut out and problem solved.

What diameter would you say your wheel is? The one that came with the machine?

Both wheels are the same. Pretty sure that nylon is the material. Mine are 1.875" Diameter. Depth depends on which cases you're doing: Short cases (300 BO) are around .6", standard (308 and the like) are around .8 to an inch, and the magnum wheels are about 1.2" (Note: This is all from memory. I have a chunk of 2" nylon rod at a friends to make some up for me, and never bothered to keep a copy of the dimensions.) I also don't think any of the dimensions are critical, as long as you avoid wheel to wheel interference.

I took a spare case feeder wheel and glued a strip of 120 grit sandpaper to it using contact cement, and used it for the roller wheel. Works a lot better than the rubber coated wheel supplied. That's what I'll be doing with the ones my buddy's making for me. I have a few friends with the same machine, so will be scoring points with replacement parts.

Sounds like a copyright infringement about to happen.....just saying.
I agree it doesn't look good, but I was actually just trying to gather information on what seems to be the Achilles heel of an otherwise great machine. Trying to price out if it would be a lucrative investment to buy the machine and then shell more money out to replace the wheels with aluminum bar, or buy a different machine, build a machine... etc etc... like to do my research

Dick;

You've never replaced a part on something you bought with an "improved", homemade replacement?
