NEWS FLASH! STU SMITH dusted off his old .222 bench rifle and tied JIM WONDERS for first place in Custom. Not only that but the triple deuce shot the only perfect target of the day. Compared to last week's horrendous weather conditions today's felt slightly more manageable. Most of the day was green flags with just enough abrupt let ups and the occasional red flag to let you know......you were not in control. We had a blood feud/challange between Gary Felege and his grandson Zach in .22 or rimfire. While Zach is by far the better looking of the Erie duo, grandpa snuck by with a 3 point victory. I think his days are numbered though. Thanks to all those who both attended and helped. Steve Kaffana from Lancaster took second with a 257 to best the rest of the field. Frank Carrier stepped up today and did a fine job calling the line. Always willing do do whatever whenever, with a smile. Thanks Frank, your appreciated. Results and pics....#1 Steve Kaffana,Stu Smith, Jim Wonders #2 Dave Shaw, Ed Gilnet #3 Gary and Zach.
