A beautiful fall day on the mountain. Mid 60s, clear, a mix of sun and light clouds. 25 shooters enjoyed the last match of 2022. We had a couple new shooters which is always welcome. Better yet, Blake Whaley stopped by from AAR Outdoors in Delmont , Pa to shoot and donated a crisp 50.00 Bill to be given as a bonus to the match winner, class act by a class guy. Thank you Blake. Once again Delmus Burket won the 5 shot group taken off of the last target with a fine 1.119. He squeezed it out besting Austin Tressler by .024. This was in constantly switching winds touching double didgets at times. It's over now until the winter 200 yard matches start on the second Saturday of January 2023. WINNERS:

Jim, I hope the weather is kinder to you this winter. I missed those matches last year.

I'd like to make an honorable mention to Gina Kunselman who
kept up with the top dogs early on and doing it with a PRS
style rifle and shooting with a "bipod" ???. And If I remember right,
her and husband Brian, are still shooting the 6mm Creedmoor ??
At the end of the match, Brian was checking out a fellow shooter's
Seb.....!! As customary....Brian has to take her out for ice cream for
giving him a proper whupping....

Thanks Fuj!! She was doing great till 4th target but with a bipod, rear squeeze bag & making her own wind calls she did pretty good against some great competition! Added thanks to everyone involved in putting on the matches.

To bet against Gina would not be smart. We had 2 ladies shoot today with new rifles and both did well. Youth were represented by Marshal Tressler who always shoots well. Then there are all us old guys just trying to hang on, lol. There are lots of us.
