Entry fee, 20.00 with cash payback. Food and coffee. Custom, Factory Varmint, Sporter, and AR classes. No flat bottem stocks in factory. Custom class stock width limited to max of 3 in. Flags and spotting scopes are ok. One gun per class per competitor.

Thanks, I may try to make it next year as I'll have a little more time, you're 8 hours drive for me so at my age that's a 3 day trip, 1 to get there 1 to shoot and 1 to get home! Thanks for the offer!

Lol, I have the same story except few back problems. They have been trying to talk me into knees for close 30 yrs. Still doing what I do. I am lucky, I can shoot the first 4 weekends of the month with drives of 1.5 hours or less. Most weekends both Sat and Sunday but for the most part I have cut out shooting twice each weekend. But, keep your eye on me, I am sure it will not me my last mistake. Nice thing about getting into your middle 70's, it is easier to laugh at mistakes rather then getting angry.

I shot some on Monday. Load development for the 257 Roberts AI.
Was a PITA carrying & setting everything up one handed.
And my non dominate hand too.

Week 17 & counting waiting on the Shilen barrel.
I've got some 100gr, 25 caliber MatchKings on the way.
Now to have something to shoot them with...

`It won't stop me from coming but watching a system that
may slam into Erie early Saturday. Would hate to drag it down
with me. I know were under a roof but if it blows side way's !!!
And I have to remember to throw a sweat shirt back in the
vehicle. The range was a bit chilly the last shoot.

20-30 mph wind would put you in good placing with those heavy 7mm bullets against the 6mm's.

How fast can you drive,lol. Wife and I almost moved to Idaho 11 years ago. Deciding factor.....pretty much no shooting competition.

It is fun. You may have to take the bull by the horns to make it happen locally. I typically drive 2.5 to 3.5 hours to get to registered matches in VW and PA.

True, sometimes you have to be the guy. Trick is to get shooters in your area to come support your efforts. Lot more talking than shooting goes on I have found out. We are lucky here in central and Western Pa.....lots of matches.
