Getting nervous on this one. Firing pins were supposed to be here
Monday for the ELF. Got to make a phone call !!

Looks like good weather at this point !!

Fedex came in an hour ago. Just wiper blades from Rock Auto.
Push comes to shove, I'll pull one from another target action.
One is due to be stripped and cleaned anyways.
I'd loan ya one of mine, but their not target actions.

Not waiting any longer. Swapped pins and got the range
check in with some foulers. Good to go.....See Yinz Sunday.

READ THIS POST AGAIN as it has been decided to go to four 5 shot targets. The tight 10 shot groups at 400 yards are getting tough to score accurately.

I have a recommendation !! See it it's possible to stack 2 targets.
That way it saves time for the target setters, and pulling equipment
from the benches. Although I do not know if the target frames are
tall enough. Just thinking out loud again.....

Lol, your a dangerous fellow when your thinking Fuj....No there is not enough room.

You thought he was saying to stack them vertically.

My mind went to stacking them, then stapling them to the backer.

Saves on components that way. ;)

Not enough room. It's not a speed race either, last time I checked. Plus, a 4 target agg is a better distribution of conditions then a 2 or 3 target agg.

I agree. Probably target #3 would be good for the small group
contest. Either way, and just checking the forecast; They are calling
for a 15 mph wind at Chestnut Grove. Probably higher and switching
up on the range. And bring a Jacket !!

A jacket will feel good early tomorrow. Target 4 will be the group at all the DEER matches I was told. Glad you got your firing pin Fuj. Hope you bought a spare. See you in the morning. Are you shooting the ELF?

Well, the pins never showed, so I pulled a pin out of one of my spare
target actions and ran out to range to test. It was the ELF I broke the
pin at the last shoot there. I'm bringing it for this match. Normally
I'd shoot the SA284 with the 183 SMK's, but saving that for Ridgway.
