AMP shell holder grip issue SOLVED

Just picked up an amp, quite excited to test it out!

A majority of my equipment is RCBS including shell holders. However, the RCBS shell holder does not fit my AMP shell holder grip. Has anyone else experienced this or is some thing a little bit off with mine?

Are you loosening the grip nut enough to insert the shell holder? I have used Redding, RCBS and Lee shell holders without issue.

Thank you, I’m an idiot! For some reason I was thinking that the collet would be all the way open when screwed down all the way and then you would back it out to tighten it down on the shell holder

You will enjoy the benefits of the AMP. I can attest that my scores have improved since proper annealing ( and a new stock, and a new scope) No really, Good gear.
