Wonder if you can tune by varying annealing settings?

Let's say your "brass" is composed of different lots of (Lapua Palma) brass, and you send it to Alex. Won't you get a range of recommended program numbers (this piece needs 72, this one 80, this one 92, etc) depending on the composition of the mixture, or do his results come out pretty much binary (use 72 versus use 92)?

Why would you use mixed lots of Brass?
