Lot to lot will always vary a little and I can’t guarantee it’ll work for your lot but my turned is 149 (turned to .312 on a 21st Century lathe) and No-turn is 158@F Class John, what are your AMP setting numbers turned and unturned?
Has anyone here AZTEC’d some Peterson .284 Win brass yet. Was wondering what settings you got.
Thanks,
Yes that’s a totally valued point that I should’ve stated. The fact he’s asking for a number probably means he’s pre-Aztec thus making my number useless as you said.Keep in mind that if you do not have the Aztec program installed in your AMP other peoples Aztec settings will do you no good. There is no way convert an Aztec setting to a straight AMP setting.
thanks for everyone’s respones I’m just cross checking my numbers from the Aztec. How far off 154 are you? I turned necks to .0145” so might not be apples to apples. The only way to do it right for your brass is to have the Aztec program analyze your brass, regardless the manufacturer. My necks on my Peterson 284 brass may be different from yours in thickness so my program is only a guess for you. If you insist I will give you mine.
