You're not really ordering from Ammoseek. It's a search engine that points you to various sellers. Some of those sellers seems just a little sketchy to me. Others are major, well-known companies. Caveat Emptor! I have used Ammoseek before with success, but only for known-to-me suppliers.
I much prefer shootingbot.com. It's also a search engine, but offers up, IMNHO, more respectable sellers.

If you're seein' any caliber for less than 50% off average pricing the one of two things is happening:
1. It's a scam.
2. The shipping fees are through the roof!
Search again, and use the filter for free shipping, or a score of 9 or better. That'll give you legit vendors who aren't trying to rip you off.
Also, there are seller scores on there. Obviously, avoid that bad ones.
Lastly, if you question the vendor's legitimacy, then do this -- search Google for the vendor's name and add "Reddit" to the end. Most likely, if there's been a bad experience with that vendor, someone has posted about it.

I have ordered ammo and reloading supplies from places I have found on that sight. Yes you have to watch the shipping. I have had orders all set in a cart and when they finally showed the shipping I just closed to browser because it was nuts. It not ammoseaker that is selling the stuff they are just helping you find good prices. I have found many good prices on here and once found 2 lbs of powder I had been looking for over a year. (that was not a good deal but I finally got the powder I wanted to try).

if you see a good deal on there,
like others said, it will redirect you to the retailer
then I would pick a well known retailer
Natchez, Midway, Blue Collar, Powder Valley etc
If you veer out of the well known ones
Be sure they accept a CC so you can get a refund if needed
Some only accept Paypal, Venmo etc (those are the ones to avoid)

It is a good search engine though for price shopping and finding what you need
