So if kinda worries me that the bottle said . Dont leave in bore more than 10 mins...i guess you need to run mc7 bore cleaner to flush it out ?? maby hoppes is my best bet . Iv seen lots of BR shooters use hoppes it works..

Maybe if the barrel is CM I might worry. I've soaked chunks of stainless barrels in both Shooter's Choice and Sweets for over 24 hours and have not seen any indication the surface was harmed in any way. I would bet that after 10-15 minutes the chemical reactions that are going to occur with the copper are pretty much finished and you might as well patch it out anyway.

Soaking parts in water-based ammonia products will do nothing to them. Water-based ammonia needs oxygen to react. You could leave a metal part submerged for years and it would do nothing to it until it is taken out and exposed to air.

Petroleum based ammonia's work just the opposite, and soaking with them will work.

The parts I tested were not completely submerged, there was an interface to atmosphere. No indication of damage around the interface.

It is a CM barrel . Iv learned not to clean the heck out this barrel. Thats why i was thinking i might not need such a aggressive cleaner.

I mean whats the big deal if you have to soak the barrel over night with hoppes? Plus i can find this stuff locally. My cousin was telling me the other day thay hardly ever super clean there sniper rifles in the army . He has been a sniper for 11 years all thay really do is brush with solvent patch it out and done.

308s are notorious for going several hundred shots before they start to go off call. You won't find that with most hot 6.5 or 6MMs. They build up a layer of glazed carbon that will damage jackets.
