Ammo shortage

Interesting article:

http://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/sectors/item/14716-ammo-shortages-more-than-simple-supply-and-demand

IF we could convince everyone that shoots in this country to stop buying up everything on the shelf that is there, for 10 days there probably would be to stock shelves again and make people feel better.

It seems right now, that if a guy NEEDS 100 rounds of ammo, he will buy 500.

I work at a sporting goods store.....its absolutely ridiculous the amount of ammo that people THINK they need to buy.

That is a ridiculous statement right there! I always buy more then I need, just in case I do need it!

Ridiculous? No it isn't even close to a ridiculous statement. You probably go out and actually shoot your guns. I've seen guys that have NEVER in three years needed to buy ammo, they BARELY shoot, but all of a sudden they need 1500 rounds of 223 and 1000 rounds of 22 ammo.

Its people like that, that are causing the problem.

It is human nature when threatened to protect yourself, if Obammy had threatened peoples water instead of gun's then water would be $10.00 per bottle and the stores would have empty shelves in less then a week and people would be guarding there private wells with a shotgun, I started buying in bulk back during slick willies rain and haven't slowed down one bit since, I could shoot steady 24/7/52 until the day I died of old age and never run out and I like that feeling, if the boys don't want the rest after I am dead and gone they can take my track hoe and dig a huge hole and bury it I guess, but they wont!
