ammo boxes for 6mm BR, long VLD's

What do you guys shooting the long heavy VLD's in a 6mm BR find works best for ammo boxes? I know Sinclair's sells one that is awful nice, and stout, but I saw one at a match and it wouldn't close w/ 107's or similar. Those little cases just seem to disappear down in a big green MTM 100rd case for .308 and similar... what other options are out there? I've seen that round thingy listed in the Gear Review section; doesn't really appeal to me much.

I haven't found anything better,with large capacity) than the MTM 100s. Nose down into the fingers for transport. Nose up for shootin'.

I put a gel Cryopak in the extra space in the bottom on hot days.

If you're just shooting 20-25 rounds, those fancy PPC cases are sweet, IF you can find one with enough clearance.

J and J Products makes a 100 round ammo box specific to 6mm/7mm BR cartridges. Pic below shows a 6BR w/CRO 106 at 2.355", fits in the case with just a little room to spare.

MTM also makes a 20-round for 22-250/243/6ppc that fits perfectly for those of you who dont want 100ct boxes

Thanks for that link; those look exactly like a box I saw at a match this last weekend. I saw it and the Sinclair one; only got a chance to talk to the owner of the Sinclair box,that's when they mentioned that it wouldn't close when loaded w/ 107's).

Here at Sinclair, we do have another 50 round ammo box available, from the folks at MTM, that works perfectly for the long bullet BR loads! I measured one of the .22 BR cases, with the Sierra 90 MK in it, that will be used in a .22 BR gun that I am currently building on a 6.5" twist barrel. These rounds are measuring out to 2.303" to touch the rifling and they go into the MTM box with room to spare. The box will accomadate all the way out to 2.390" length without to much difficulty. The Sinclair item number is RS-S-50, and it is available for $3.45 in either green, or clear blue. I hope this information will help all of you that are looking for ammo boxes for these long bullet applications for the BR cases.

I use exactly that box,the one from Sinclair) for my 6BR 105 VLD loads. Works perfectly.
