Ammmmo and Primers -- Report

Well I did not plan to stop at the local sportsmans joint today, but stopped next door then said since I'm here I may as well go in side.
Sheesh 300 people it seemed, 2 lines for ammo n primers. I don't need ammo so I see a shelf full of primers being unloaded and only 10 in line there vs 150 in ammo line.
I was able to pick up 2k fed match srp, 2bx 70g bullets and left happy I came by.
They had a ton or so of 380, 9, 10, 40, 48, 223, 300 bo. I handload so no need for me to wait in line. Prices were ok if you think $28 for a bx. of 20 .380 is good when next door a bx of 50 is $20. Least people were nice waiting.

Last time I was at a SW, limit of one brick of primers, one bottle of powder and one box of bullets. Pick the one(s) you needed/wanted the mostest.

I bought CCI 200’s for 2.39 at Sportsman’s last week. When I first saw the price I thought the 2 was a 7, but no it was legit normal pricing.

Sportsman Warehouse has always had fair prices during hard times in my area.

That will change soon - Bass Pro the same company who bought Cabelas is in the process of acquiring Sportsmans Warehouse also.

I buy from Bass Pro online and have it shipped free to the store. You pay sales tax, but no hazmat.

BP/Cabelas may be higher than normal prices but they are far from gouging or GB prices. I’ll gladly pay their prices any day.

My 600$ stimulus from the Government was burning a hole in my pocket so I went to Sportsman’s Warehouse in Bend and bought a new 40sw Pistol. Waited in line for 10-15 mins, got my pistol and asked for 40sw ammo. He came out with a box of 200! With a big a$$ smile. Nice place to buy, only negative was the guy behind me coughing!

I was just at Sportsman's here in Rock Springs. Hoping that same truck made it over here. The shelves are empty. I mean empty. no bullets no powder no primers of any kind and a few boxes of 17 Mach2 ammo.

May be a bad shot but has good stance anyway! But in today’s upside down world who knows it could be a guy standing there for all I know. Us guys can be easily fooled by blonde hair.

Local gun shop here in FL was selling a brick of CCI small rifle for $169.99 only had a few. walked away shaking my head.
