American made long rifle cases

I prefer these:
http://www.prone2success.com

I did order a hafner and I was not happy with the construction. The foam used was thin or not dense enough and with my 21lb rifle in it it wasn't going to protect much. The interior of the bag looked like some old 3 color tan desert camo uniform was used. And yes I did mention what the bag would be used for when I ordered it. For the price I was disappointed.

If you aren't set on buying a USA made bag, the bald eagle bag is better built than the hafner, significantly cheaper and on par with the prone2success bag.

I have purchased one of each in the last 2.5 years. I was gonna send the hafner back but they wouldn't cover shipping and shipping was gonna cost a bit to get it back to them. It's hard to beat the bald eagle price and quality for something made overseas. I might just put the hafner up for sale on the forum at a discount. It's brand new and never used. I was turned away the moment I received it and stuffed it back into the box.

If you want a premium case, check with Red Oxx out of Billings MT.

They are not cheap but how much money do you guys have in a state of the art rifle and scope. Not counting the "wait" time.

The case should last a life time.

I've had a Hafner's gun case for a few years now. It's held up well, and I'm not particularly easy on stuff.

It's very well padded... and insulated.

The Prone2Success bags are nicely made... got one from John earlier this year. My last one never found its way home when I lent it out a few years ago. Apparently its new owner liked it as well.

I bought a Hafner in 2010 and 2014 and the earlier model is more heavily padded and beefier overall.
