Aluminum buttplates for McMillans

I'm looking for someone to make a couple of aluminum buttplates for two stocks I have. First is a McMillan HBR stock, and the second is a McMillan STC 10/22 stock. Do you guys know of anybody that would be up for the job and who does a good job on them?

I've made a couple for myself out of 1/4" using nothing more than a hacksaw, files, and various grades of wet/dry for polish. Takes a lot of time and patience but the reward and cost was a plus, not counting having to put up with shipping both ways.

Here's a pic showing part of one, enough to get an idea.

Any good BR smith should be able to crank one out for you. Try S&S, they're close to you, or give Tom Merideth at TM Stockworks a buzz.

Thanks alf. I sent Tom an email. He's got prices for just what I'm looking for on his website, and they look pretty reasonable.
