OK just alittle to what I am doing.I have found two bullets and one powder for my 223 and the same for my 308.Well now I want to find another load with another powder for my 300wm.( OK I know its off but rather have two powders for the 300wm Hint it uses alot to load for it )The title shows to what I am aimming for.My choice of bullet is the 200gn Berger Hybrid so that I can load it as close or to mag length.A really good friend of mine is working on a 300wm himself and choose to use Allitant's 4000mr and thinks it be a great choice.Me as of now I have been useing H1000 under a 208gn A-max and love it with that bullet, but want to have two differnt powders for two different bullets.I know it's not a thing to do for many of you or what most will do but it's a choice for me.Am I doing something right I have no clue but willing to try.
So I guess if any of you who are or have tried Alliant's 4000mr in a 300wm your info and idea's are wanted.Pro's con's welcome by all means or even the say of just to stick with H1000 or try this.Just give a really good reason to what or why you think I should do or use.Ya'll are all I have in this world and I respect your answer's and info when it come to rifels and reloading.
Alittle about the rifel.... it's just a 5R Milspec with a 26 inch barrel with a 1:10 twist and nothing done to it.Other than getting rid of the x-mark trigger. As of now I am useing Remington brass ( I know I could be useing a better choice but it's what I have )Plus I cannot see right now to spend well over a $1 a case for a better choice money is really tight in my house.Well that should be it like said before it's just a stock rifel that shoots well when I can do my part.
thanks for your help,John
