I'm trying to find a starting recipe for 38 spl for IDPA & ICORE using Alliant Sport Pistol, 147g RN Blue Bullets & Fed primers in a S&W 686 4" barrel. Their recipe sheet just covers WC's & FP bullets. My best guess is to start around 3.2g and work my way up to get to 825 fps or approx 120 PF. I have to get a buddy to do my chrono work so getting close to start would be a great help. Thanks.
