Amazon has the Airglide "toaster-style" vertical gun cases on sale again for just $34.00 with FREE shipping. These normally run about $45 with $12-15 shipping. These are $49.99 plus s/h at Midway!

Many guys grabbed these the last time they were on sale. It's a great case. Measure your gun first though! Max interior length is about 49.5". A 28" barrel is probably max, though I've heard some guys can fit a 29" or even 30" if the gun has a shorter benchrest style stock with thin buttplate. But measure before buy!

Great case! I have enjoyed both of mine! My 28" .308 fits fine although I need to shave down the foam at the front because my scope is very close to the roof of the case when closed. My rifle has a B&C Adjustable Medalist so it sits high. There's also plenty of room in there for a few range essentials, such as ECI's, small tool kit, torque wrench, and a small amount of ammo.

I remember I bought mine for $25.00 with free shipping years ago. Amazon had a promotion if you applied for there credit card they would cut price in half or something like that. Ended up paying about 14 - 15 dollars. After I received it, I cancelled there credit card.

If you want one, you better grab it. They’re no longer being manufactured!
I’m not a Amazon customer anymore though!
be wary of these airgun sites. the case is indeed discontinued. the amazon search site provides a link to 'the plano store' which does not show the product. the chinese shipping scam has taken over a lot of dormant websites. they also have manipulated the search engines to get to the top of the hit list. among infected sites i believe are air guns of texas, airgunon, and most are knockoffs of pyramyd air. DO YOUR RESEARCH. you will see the sellers are not legit storefronts. PAYPAL will not stand behind you when the scammers spoof tracking data and offer 'proof' of shipping.

matter of fact, i did a test of this very product. and as soon as it is resolved, i will be blowing away my paypal account, and also ebay.

stay safe, and scr*w the scammers.

So you’re saying that these aren’t airglides? They’re Chinese knock-offs? And Amazon is part of the problem?

here is my take, based on my experience. i claim no special legal knowledge of online scams:

i am saying, in the case of "airgunon" dba "online store" which claims an address near the airport in abilene texas, that indeed once was 'air guns of texas', there is NO product delivered, they fake up tracking info to obfuscate and prolong the paypal dispute process, providing fake usps numbers from 'amazon partners' in the us and supposedly proving delivery to the buyer.

Concurrent with supplying this tracking number showing u.s. origination of shipping, they say their us warehouses are closed due to covid, and the product must ship from china within 12 -15 days.

my research also found pyramyd air claiming that their site had been knocked off, and additionally found multiple private party reports of similar fake tracking scams, predominantly circulating over the last year or so. phones go unanswered, the 'help chat' is a bot typically, the knock off websites look authentic enough until doing a deep dive.

i include here one paypal collecting address that is viewable only after completion of paypal submit payment (in response to the invoice). additionally, the invoice will change the product sku from manufacturers number to an inhouse number with the description of 'custom product' while still showing an image of, in this case, the plano airglide.

as i see it, there is absolutely no guarantee that paypal will approve your dispute claim despite this being a well documented and widespread scam.

so, no not particularly pointing at amazon. but i am pointing at paypal.

My goodness, thank you so much!
I will delete my first post and this is another strike against Amazon for me.
