Air Gun

What is the most accurate air gun for the money?

I am looking for one and everyone has the best! Just wondering which one is.

Air guns of Arizona talk to Robert
These guys sell quality rifles and do repairs to all of them.
Robert will steer you in the right direction for your needs be it hunting,
Benchrest, field target. High quality, amazingly accurate

Agree on Air guns of Arizona. Picked up a FX pcp from them to help reduce our collard dove invasion. Deadly out to 30-40 yards (probably farther but I'm the weak link at that point). My son-in-law and I shoot peppercorns off toothpicks at 15 yards in the basement. Very accurate.

What is the purpose of the rifle?

Pest control around the house, Maybe a little target shooting. Snakes seem to be abundant this year, maybe because the field mice are abundant as well. I want to get rid of a few of them. My super accurate 22LR is a little to dangerous in my area. It tends to ricochet which scares me, even though the closest home is about 200 yards away. I would rather be safe.

For something like that a pcp Benjamin marauder will be great. It doesnt break the bank. If you want something higher quality then
, pm me. I have alot of info on pcp guns

Thanks for the above info from everyone.

I had no idea the amount of airguns available. I have been looking at them for the last 2 hours. Some of those airguns cost more that most of my target rifles. I was amazed with all of them.

I just want something to shoot snakes. The Maurader looks like a fine airgun. I would have to go with a PCP with a 10 round magazine.

I am going to think on this awhile. I might trade one of my pistols/rifles for a nice one if anyone would consider it.

For a real nice one, I have a DE 44mag w/ an adjustable 2 stage trigger I would consider trading. (Pistol)

I can guarantee you that the marauder is perfect for your needs. I have had all of those expensive guns, including the marauder. Order yourself a pump and a marauder. You will love the marauder and its accuracy. The trigger is great and it shoots very accurately. It is on the heavy side, but a very nice rifle. I would buy it again and again.

Saw one of these at the gun show last week.

I have been using a 17cal FWB for years and am quite happy. Remember Lewis and Clark used a big bore air gun for their food supply and it was perfect for them.Never concerned about wet powder or any of the other concerns with black powder. They knew there was no place for supplies on their route (kind of like modern day survivalists). Not interested in any of the big bores.

.177 or 22 would be fine.

I have no idea what I would use a big bore for.

My rifle is a Gammo Shadow in 177 with a 6X-18X Simmons scope on it. It is a break open single shot. I have made hits out to 76 yards with a little hold over. I have over 2500 rds thru it and haven't had any problems. This is my second scope, first one eventually quit working. I use it for pest control, the doves have my picture up in their community center, because as soon as they see me they take off. ;D
I have seen some of those expensive ones at the range, they are good if you want to be able to put a pellet up a Mosquitos a$$, but this is all you need for the neighbor hood pest.

I bought a 25 caliber Marauder. I bought the pump a spare mag, Cosman pellets and a 4-14 Weaver GS.

As soon as I shot it I sold my RWS 48. No comparison between a PCP and the springers that I had been shooting since my first Diana/Winchester I got in 1976.

50 yard pigeons are cake. Sparrows at 50-60 yards are so common as to be boring. LOVE my Maruader 25 cal
