Aftermarket Trigger for Sako L46, about 1954 & 1957 years?

I'm happy to say I have two Sako L46 rifles, and both are very nice. But, I'd like to see about upgrading the triggers, as I'd like my break to be around 10 ounces. The triggers in both are at 1 1/8 pounds and 1 1/4 pounds.

From what I understand, it's not safe to try to take these stock triggers down much lower than they are now, but I'm new to the Sako L46 and that might not be true?

I've looked for aftermarket triggers for the L46 and so far no luck. For the L461 yes, and others, but I'm not finding success.
No on Timney, Jewell, Jard, Canjar

I have a Canjar in my Vixen. Its light. Finding one might be tough but you might try the Sako Collector's site. I found an extractor that I needed there.

L 461 will take most Mauser triggers, you might have to tinker a little otherwise youl need to look at Timney but imo they don't really offer a big advantage over a standard Sako trigger. Bix and Andy only does for 75 and 85 unfortunately but they do have a couple models for Mausers 98 if your feeling lucky

L46 Sako parts are hard to find. I had to make my own trigger, bolt release, and bolt release housing.

I loaned my prints to one of our known RF gunsmiths and they went to the grave with him. He never returned them.

From what I've found, nobody I can find currently makes a trigger for the L46. In the past Canjar made a set trigger for these, and might be found from a gun auction website for a small fortune, not likely. The trigger is like a Winchester model 70 in design, but I'm sure not in actual layout, to where a Winchester trigger could be used in a Sako rifle.

I would ask over on the Sako Collectors site. If there's a Canjar around for your L46, that would be a good place for a lead on one. A wealth of info there and a nice group.

I joined there a couple days ago, and did some searching, but haven't asked any questions there yet. Seems like a really good site, thank you for the suggestion too!
