AEDC 16/17 April Matches

Shooters

MidSouth Marksmen will be hosting two matches over the Easter weekend next month. Saturday we'll shoot a 3x600.Then on Sunday we'll shoot a 3x1000 to finish the weekend. These matches are NRA approved and will be shot on E-targets.
Competitors are responsible to provide their own tablet or electronic device capable of signing in to a Wi-Fi device. Also please bring a pop up canopy if you have one. Attached is a program for these matches.

This should be a good opportunity for everyone to shake off the cobwebs after a long winter. Even if you can't make it out on Sunday, Saturday will be fun too. Such limited opportunities to shoot at AEDC this year - might as well take advantage of every chance we get...

Final Call, we are less than a week out from the 3x600 and 3x1000 at AEDC Tullahoma TN. The weather forecast looks promising. Hope to see everyone at least one of the matches this weekend.

The current weather forecast shows a 40% chance of rain for Saturday. For those wondering,
the possibility for rain is no cause for the match to be canceled.

What a gloriously beautiful day at the range today - partly cloudy with a light breeze to keep it challenging, and no rain whatsoever. Hopefully we have good weather tomorrow too.

Let's all make sure not to nag the match director about reporting the scores. That will definitely, without any question, make it take longer.

Very light mist/drizzle began around 11:00 that pretty much ended a little after noon. It was not an issue. We had the canopies up and most shooters never put on rain gear. Tim and John ran a safe and efficient match and we were all headed home around 12:45.
