Advice on 260 AI ?????

They shoot very well at 1000yd The speed is very close to a 6.5 284. 260 brass works the best. I would use 8''twist or faster. 30'' tube. The best powder I found as Norma MRP Larry

What type of barrell life are you getting??? Same as a 6.5-284 or longer barrell life?? Are you using a tight neck? Shive

We pretty much tried all barrels company's . They were to go to gun for several years. We were getting 2000 plus rounds depending on the powder. Some were using tight necks. I cant see one is better then the other. MRP powder worked better then RL 22. Most of now have change to a dasher.

Been using Lapua 260 brass with Rel 22.

Works fine. At about 1,200 rds right now through a Krieger. Still working well.
