Advanced reloading reference?

I'm new to reloading and I'm trying to learn more. I've been doing the basic things of case trimming, chamfering, playing with seating depths, etc but all pretty basic things.

In reading some articles here and other sites I'm coming across a lot of things that I'm unsure of, never heard of or don't completely understand. things like runout, full length dies, neck bushings, neck turning, doughnuts, etc.

Are there any good books or other types of reference material out there that would help someone get a better handle on the finer points of reloading?

Thanks in advance for your time and any help.

This is a link to the case prep guide in the articles section. It explains a good bit of stuff in good detail, and may help you understand some of the things you're unsure of.

If you scan through some of the other articles and the forum, many things get explained or discussed in great detail, you just need to read a bit to find them.

There are a few books that will help as well.

I have the one I linked to, and it's pretty good. It's written by Glen Zediker, a shooter who has been around for a while and earned High Master shooting an AR-15 service rifle.

Yes defintly a big +1 for Glen D. Zediker :) I have quite a few manuals on reloading, competition shooting, ect, ect, ect But the Handloading for competition is by far the best one I have. His humor is a little dry and sometimes you will fill like reaching into the book and ringing his neck and just say spit it out Glen!!! but most of the time he is spot on. I have read it several times and still refer to it on occasions,I have even refered to it to answer a post or two when I wasn't completly sure :-\

Thanks guys I'm going to order the Zediker and PS books today.

Much appreciated
