Adjustable Comb Hardware for Laminate Bench Stock

Just picked up a laminate bench rest stock and need to do an adjustable comb on it. Planning on cutting the wood out of the comb and then re-attaching with hardware. For the guys that have done this, what hardware to you recommend? I have access to a lathe and can make the custom parts, anybody ever done their own? Are there any plans anywhere for this?

KMW is fine kit. I prefer Graco for ease of installation, but if you need a lot of vertical travel it's more limited.

I finally finished up this project. Turned out pretty good. I decided to make my own kit and learned a couple of valuable lessons. None of which ruined the stock. Shot it yesterday and it worked great. Ended up taking me about 4 hours to makes the hardware, cut the stock, and install. Having the stock manufacture add the comb is well worth the $150 most charge for it. This was my test run, will be doing another soon, hopefully will go a little faster and be a little bit better.

Toasty that is a nice looking job. I have done a number of those except on shotguns. For the most part I made my own hardware.

I made all my own hardware.

The 2 side cuts were a bandsaw. After that, had to use a hand coping saw for the corners and the straight cut. I now know why they cut all the way to the front of the comb on some stocks. You can do it all with a band saw.
