Adding weight to a space gun

I have a Compass lake match upper w/ 26" barrel .233 wylde chamber. The Gun is so lite I cannot get it to settle in off hand or rapids. Anyone have anything to put weight in the front end?

What buttstock are you using? I'm using a WOA 6 way adjustable - the whole rifle with scope comes in around 16lbs.
About the only way to add weights to the forend is wheel weights - but they come in just oz's.

With a sling, it should settle pretty good - you might try tweaking your positions.

I have the same upper and the 26” barrel on mine is .920” ish behind the gas block and .750” forward of it. I find it to be muzzle heavy and add weight to the buttock assembly. But if you need more weight out front there are a couple options.

If it’s just a little, like ounces, you want you can add adhesive wheel weights inside the hand guard.

But based on your post, you’re talking about adding quite a bit. To do this I think your best bet is a removeable/moveable weight mounted to the hands to the hand stop rail. That will let you add a greater amount of weight and position it where you want it. Plus you could take it off if needed for prone.

You can also affix weights elsewhere on the foreend. Maybe look at some of the weights that PRS guys are using.

Out of curiosity, where is the balance point right now?
