action wrench ??

I have had my brothers vice and rear entry wrench borrowed and he needs it back,,looked to order my own and see they make side port entry wrenches,,is one design better than the other for any reason,,rear or side entry??

I use both with equal results. They both engage the lug area of the action so I do not see any real difference between the two. The side wrench is aluminum and has the handle extending to the side of the action, the rear entry is a steel unit and uses either a T-handle or, for my Barnard wrench, a socket and handle of choice.
Pick your poison.

You can use the rear entry on more actions as the port wrench is pretty specific. Call pat at pma tool as he sells all you need in one stop

yea thanx,,I see now where the side port entry is left or right port specific so I need the rear entry so I dont have to buy two,,,

thanx again,, eric
