Action smoothness

I have a buddy that says he has an M98 action, controlled round feed. He is complaining about the smoothness of the action. Not binding, just not slick as he would like. Any suggestions I can give him would be appreciated. Mine are fine cause I spend the money!

He can polish it, but he isn't going to get around the design. The rear of extractor gets pinched by the race so that it opens enough for the cartridge rim to slip under. Brilliant design but he is always going to feel that part.
