Acraglass dye and Devcon 10110

Has anyone mixed the Acraglass dye (brown) with Devcon 10110, and how did it affect the workability and pot life of the Devcon? Did you get the color that you wanted? Am looking to get a brown or tan color that will blend better with a wood stock than grey will.

Never tried to dye devcon. Can't imagine that steel filled stuff would take it at all. It stains everything it touches black.

But it WILL paint just fine after finishing.

Just an idea. As my devcon is always inside the stock, never needed to.
