WANTED AccuTrigger Safety Position Spring

I’m talking about the spring that the safety bar rides on to determine the safety’s position. It installs in the hole indicated in the photo. For Savage models 10, 12, etc.

I have 3 Accu triggers just like yours without that spring.

Definitely supposed to be one there but not sure where to buy one. To buy one directly from Savage you have to have a gunsmith/ffl holder order it.

Yes I know. Was really hoping to avoid that hassle but that’s probably what I’ll have to do if I can’t find one otherwise.

I have a couple of them also. Don’t know when or why they made the change but that seems to be the nature of Savage.

If you replace this accutrig with a Rifle Basix, this spring is reused in the new trig.
I don't know where to get that spring except from Savage.
