Accurate Powder Recall

I came across this on another site. I don't use Accurate but I know from posts some here do.

Had an 8 pounder of the 4064 that was on the recall list. Contacted them and they told me to take a picture of the jug and the sticker with the Lot# on it and Email it to them along with my name and address. Then they told me to fill jug with water or dump it in my garden for fertilizer. I did all of the above and in roughly two weeks, received a check for the value of the powder. Very good communications and simple. Hats off to Accurate Powders.

I had the same experience Chukhunter did, had 2 pounds and they sent me a check for them. I really hated throwing the powder out but better safe than sorry. The recall was issued last year if I remember correctly.

I have some not on the recall. They told me if what you have came from Tennesse (look at the label), then it is ok and not on the recall.

Glad it’s not mag pro I just picked up an 8 pounder two days ago. And it just so happens I’m in Tennessee it looks like I’m OK

Just put the water to an unopened 8 pound jug of 2495. Had been dragging my feet because the lot number was not very legible. Talked to a fellow named Don in customer service at accurate around 11:30 this morning, sent him a picture of the lot label on the bottom of the jug and he notified me that it was in fact part of the recall. He sent me a recall authorization number and questions to answer and we had everything finished by 3:30. Very helpful on their end.

I've got an 8 pounder of 4350 that must predate the problem. Lot # 17994 from 1994 and from TN.
