Accurate 4350

What calibers can I load with accurate 4350? I bought it by mistake thinking it was h4350 and the accurate part was a marketing ploy. Oops. I a new reloader so any help is very much appreciated. The calibers I have are 308 win, 260 remmy, 6.5 creed and 243 win.

Most Charts have them just about equal ? That is good powder .
You can always send it my way.

Work up your load !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accurate makes very good powders. I use a LOT of their MagPro in 300-WM, 300-PRC, and 338-LM ... and go back-and-forth between Acc-4350 and Winchester StaBall for my 6.5-CM rifles. The StaBall is a little better in SD's, but the 4350 is much cleaner on the barrels and bolts. Bottom line ... don't feel bad about building with Accurate 4350 ... it's a very solid choice, and much easier to find that the unobtainable H4350. Frankly ... I've kind of "had it" with Hodgdon powders and am settling on alternatives. If they wanted my business, they'd build more powder and get it out on the market. I'm "done" staring at the screen and racing to buy it when somebody sees it back in stock (for a half a nanosecond).

FWIW, I got a couple pounds of new Accurate 4350 last July. Lot #10552125. It's significantly slower than any other lot or brand of 4350 I've used except for Shooter's World 4350 which it's very close to. Much like the SW4350, it seems very similar to 2 different lots (one old & one new) of IMR4831 in 4 different chamberings from 22-250 Ackley to 358 Norma Mag. All but one of the four ran out of case space with A4350 before equaling H4350 velocities. Group sizes were also less than hoped for. This lot of A4350, however, does work very well in my 280 Rem. with 140 & 150s.

My lot is probably different than your lot. Hopefully it turns out fine for you. Wherever it falls in burn rate, it likely wont be optimal in your 308 with the most common bullet weights (125 to 180), but could be outstanding in both of your 6.5s & the 243. Use book starting loads & work up.

I bought 2lb's of Accurate 4350 back in June/July of last year as well, and it's from the same lot number as 358WCF. My experience has been the same as his when it comes to velocities. I got tired of messing with it and loaded some up in my .260 Rem, 6.5 CM, and .338 WM to just burn it up. I'll be darn, I got the best accuracy out of those three rounds than I had with any other powder I had used with the bullets I was using (6.5 CM 143 gr. ELD-X, .260 140 gr. BT, and .338 210 gr. TTSX). The .338 is 100 fps slower than any published data, and the .260 and 6.5 CM is 125 fps-200 fps slower than any published data I can find My problem after getting great accuracy, I only have about 1/2 lb left. I will probably load the reminder of it up in the .338, as spring bear season is soon.

I use Accurate MagPro in 300-WM and 300-PRC ... with great results. I have 16 lbs of 4350 that I'll use in my 6.5-CM's when I run out of StaBall.

Hi..anybody use Accurate 2700 for anything. I'm thinking its the next one up from Acc4350..?
Thank you
I use it for .17 Remington with 20 and 25-grain bullets, .243 with 75-grain VMax, .280 Remington and .30-06.
Excellent velocity and accuracy in the .17 and .243. Somewhat lower velocities with most weights in .280 and .30-06 but accuracy is still very good.
As I posted elsewhere, there was an article several years ago in Handloader Magazine that stated H414, W760 and AA2700 were the same powders, just labelled differently. I have no way of knowing if this is still the case, but if I want to use AA2700 in a cartridge that doesn't list it but does list the other two, I start at the lowest load for the two listed powders and carefully work up. No problems so far, but be careful.
I also use AA2200 for .223 in weights from 50-grain VMax to 68-grain Hornady HPBTs. Accuracy is excellent and velocity falls only a few fps behind equivalent CFE223 loads.

I bought a factory model 10 24 inch barrel,new 6.5 creedmoor
started with these 3 loads with aa4350
wind was left to right 8-12mph
i really think these could have turned out better, but the wind got me especially on the first group
5 shot groups,100 yards ,.017 off the lands
