Accurate 4350 and 30-06

Anyone have experience with Acurate Arms 4350 in the 3006? Specifically 165, 168 and 180 grain bullet weights? I've read that it is the slowest of the 4350's and looking for personal experience. I plan to begin loading 180 Nosler Ballistic Tips. I have used 56 grains of H4350 with this bullet and have to back off some because of hard bolt lift. I have a minimum spec chamber. Thanks to any and all for remarks.

Not a direct answer to your question re:30-06, but judging by chronograph results in 2 very different rifles, velocity per grain, Acc. 4350 is a touch slower than IMR4831. Shooters World 4350 is yet another tad slower than Acc.4350, at least with the lot #s I have. You may be able to add more powder as Acc. seems a bit less bulky than H.

The 1st (& only) Western loading manual lists from 55.9 to 60.3 gr of Acc.4350 as max for 4 different cup & core bullets in 30-06 with pressures under 60K psi.

My current lot of that powder (in its European guise of Lovex SO70) is way slower than any other 4350. I couldn't achieve normal MVs in 7mm-08 even with a heavily compressed load. MVs were so far down (c. 200 fps) that my first thought was to check that I'd not inadvertently switched SO71 (the old Accurate Arms Co.-3100) for it.

Western powders burn rate chart has A-4350 at the same burn rate as H-4350 and IMR-4350 one click faster. I think you will see quite a bit of variability in old and new lots of A-4350
I shot a huge buck in 2008 with A-4350 and a 165 Sierra in a Mod 70 FWT 30-06.
