Accurate 2495?

I did. Now I don't.

I found that it was too slow (bullet speed) for my needs and built pressure way to quick. Changed to Varget for the most part. 100 fps faster for my 175 gr bullets and 1,000 psi less pressure.

On top of that, I haven't seen it on the shelf recently in my locale.

I recently inherited an 8 pounder of Accurate 2495 which was made before Western Powder bought Accurate. It says made in China on the container. It smells good and I see no signs of degradation. Any suggestions on where to start? I talked to a friend at Western and he said it will be a great fertilizer.

it may be good now that western has it but i'll never find out. I have 2 8lbers and im scared it would kill my grass if I poured it out

Depends what cartridge you'll be running it in. I'm sure it would work in something like a 223 for plinking loads. God at least that is better than using it for fertilizer, I would dispose of it in a proper manner shooting it...

Not too long ago it was made in the Czech which shot great in my M1a.Luck would have it I found probably the last two 8 pounders made there .I still have them waiting for the uprising I guess.
