Accuracy one indicator size

I have an extra OAL indicator body I want to buy a digital dial for. Does anyone know what size I need? They seem to come in .5 and 1 inch versions. I assume that’s the length of the indicator rod. I am in my office so I can’t look at my other gauge and their website looks down.

.5" and 1.0" is the travel of the indicator dial and rod. Two diff ranges.
I understand that but I guess I was unsure of the rod length as it relates to travel. I just want to make sure it will contact the movable sleeve inside the comparator body. I was assuming the 1 inch was what I had already

So I bought another digital indicator for my other accuracy one body. I got a green one to match my Redding press. It fits perfect and works as good as the other one. I also ordered a set of 10mm diameter convex contact points. I feel like the tiny roller ball allows for some movement on the internal sleeve. It’s machined pretty close in the body but there is some minor play. Probably by design but when measuring rounds you can get inconsistent readings a few decimal points out (prob beyond what matters for my use). After some research it seems a convex contact point is more consistent for measuring flat surfaces. We will see. Also the 10mm diameter hopefully will just fit inside the body leaving the sleeve to still move a little.

So the 10mm tip needs a bit of shaving to fit. I wish the internal sleeve was machined tighter. It’s the best tool out there but the internal sleeve on both my bodies jiggles a bit and I feel like that movement causes inconsistency. Most likely not enough to matter but if my dial reads it I can see it and given that the sleeve is loose it may not be accurate.

Ok so these arrived from Amazon today. They are slightly smaller than 10mm and do not require shaving to fit the body. They are almost perfect fit as good or better than the provided sleeve. The convex shape seems to stabilize the issue of the sleeve moving slightly in both my comparator bodies. I can twirl the rounds around and they still read stable. My newer indicator that reads a few decimal points out from the igauging unit is also super stable now. I just tested 10 .204’s trying to get it to change reading and couldn’t do it with any significance. I used my larger one on 4 .308’s and 5 .243’s and the results were the same. I highly recommend if you have an accuracy one body and prefer a more stable reading. Only possible improvement I could see from here is a longer length tip of the same diameter and convex shape to keep it from moving that much more. Not 100% sure if would do anything beyond this improvement though….
