acculab & chargemaster

Has any one tried to link up a chargemaster to dispence onto an Acculab scale. An electronics buddy at work is very eager to try this, just wondering if any one else has. I do not have a 6mmbr but I sure love this site. Thanks playersc.

It's not an issue of lack of sensitivity on the part of the Chargemaster - it only displays to 0.1 grains but internally it's more sensitive than that.

Could I just confirm something with the Chargemaster... When it throws a charge, intitially it will show the selected weight, then after about 1-2 secs it will change modes and show the number of charges thrown. Then after this sequence is complete it will go back to "scale mode" and show the actual weight on the pan.

Am I missing something here, or based on the above quote would it be correct to say that when the chargemaster has gone thru this,a quite quick process) that when at the end in "scale mode" what you see is what you get ie. if it shows 51.7 gns, to the best of the scales knowledge it is 51.7 grains...??

OK that clears things up a bit because it seemed from previous posts that the chargemaster would only ever show selected weight and the operator would have no way of picking up an over/under charge condition. But in fact after the "charge count" is shown it will go back to scale mode and show you the ACTUAL weight on the pan, thereby enabling the operator to see any over or under charge by the unit,to within the scales 0.1gn accuracy limit that is). Is this statemant correct?
Thanks all.
