Access your scores from FCNC at the SMT site.

Turbulent Turtle

F-TR competitor
The kind folks at SMT have emailed me a link to their site where you can view your scores just like at the match and print them. No csv files available yet and SMT informs me this is still very much in its infancy so be kind an bear with it.

You need to remember your competitor number. You can find it in the leftover stickers on the sheet you were given at registration. If you lost that sheet, you should still remember the number since you had to enter it at all matches in which you shot or scored. If you don't remember, it's very possible you did not attend the 2016 FCNC and you were not in Lodi last week.

Here is the direct link:

Just like at WGC, click the figure to enter your number, then select the folder icon to search for your records. Click on the one you want to view. I tried to click on the printer icon, even after I unblocked popups for that site, I could not do anything with the display. Instead, I used the browser's print capabilities. I also reduced the print to 50% and got everything on one page.

If you have questions, ask here and I will try to answer but I'm sure others will be able to answer also.

Meanwhile my analysis continues.

They just make me cry! LOL
That's pretty cool. I printed them all out and will keep them to improve upon next year!

Yes, it's fun to see your Xs. I just looked at one of mine and it has x,y =0.0, 0.0 MOA. Dead. Solid. Perfect.

Now, it the other 19 shots could be the same....

What (if anything!) the "printer icon" does is highly dependent on which browser you use. On most tablets it is ignored; on iPads it'll let you send it to an actual printer but not to a PDF file; on Chrome for laptops/desktops you can "save to PDF" which is pretty useful (especially in "portrait" orientation).

In Firefox I had to "allow popups" and it then seemed to work though a bit confusingly - a popup window would be created, and when I tried to close the popup it would then proceed to the next stage of a typical printing dialog (offering that I could send it to a printer or save it to a PDF file)

Thank you, Denys!

That is super cool. I had downloaded the pdf files at the end of Saturday, but this works much better. Being able to step through each shot and have its location displayed is very nice.

Thx!

Alex

Don't thank me, thank SMT and Daniel Chisholm. All I did was pester them for a link, I think WGC and SMT did a great job.

I've been crunching my (low) numbers and I am discovering a trend in my shots, it seems that for most matches, my velocity at the target is most often below the recorded average. This explains why I usually put an extra click of elevation midway through a match. I'll crunch my single 600 yard match tomorrow.

If it's a PDF file, my iPad lets me save it to iBooks. From there I can Print it, when I'm on my network that has a printer, or I can email it.

The site shows both. Make sure you enter your correct shooter #. Mine showed for both MR and LR.

.

Another way to save it is to, after adjust the target on the zoom magnification you like, type PRINTSCREEN on your computer.

Than you may save it as a photo in a Word document, using Ctr+V and edit it as you like to show only the SMT target and info.

I made a full World document with all my Mid Range and another with my Long Range targets.
You can even make a reference competititor (like one of the top dogs of the F-Class) series of targets and compare theirs with yours, specially if shot in the same relay.

I tried to "save the page as" a website page, but the center portion of the screen, the target itself, does not show up. It would be nice if we could save the page with its full funciontalities as zoom, scrool, other targets etc.

LRCampos.

Thanks for that Daniel, I needed to get one more score. Great service.

I completed loading a spreadsheet with all my shooting data and I have some observations looking at it.

1- I shot MR team only on Tuesday. My average velocity at the 600 yard target was 1850FPS for the first match and 1857 for the second match. The STDEV was 9 and 7 respectively. This is 420 and change FPS faster than my velocities at 1000 yards. I also saw some velocities in F-Open and my .308 at 600 is a bout the same velocity as the 7mm at 1000 yards. Yikes.

2- The STDEV on the first two days of LR individuals were in the low teens. The STDEV on the last day, were both at 7. The final day had somewhat tamer winds and some drizzle. I'm thinking that conditions over 1000 yards affected the velocity of the bullets during the matches.

3- For 6 of 8 individuals match at 1000 yards, the second half of each string has a lower velocity average than the first half. 1 of 8 and identical averages and 1 has a slightly faster second half compared to the first half.

4- Comparing the first half to the second half of each relay, there seems to be a trend for higher scores when the STDEV is higher, but it's not a fast hard rule. Also, the lower STDEV for each half is evenly distributed in reach relay, so you cannot say that a higher average yields a lower score.

Not very much information coming out of this spreadsheet just food for thought. It would be great to compare from a greater sample of shooters,
