I will try him again tomorrow, but can anyone tell me if the masterclass 1000 Bench rest in 2 color gel coat still offered? I have yet to get him on the phone to find out if he is taking orders even and what is time frame is. Looking to get the Black/white and if you happen to have that particular stock I would love to see a couple pictures!

Email him. I have several times within the past month and Alex is very quick to respond, usually less than 24hrs.

I emailed Mr.Sitman on Monday,,,he replied within the hour.

Sounds good, i will shoot him an email this morning.

If anyone has a masterclass 1000 in gel coat i would like to see a couple pictures if you have the time to post them.

just emailed him, got this automatic send back.

We will be out of the office until the week of Oct 26th. No emails will be reviewed until that time.

Thank You, MasterClass Stocks

Looks like i will have to wait a little bit to hear back.

The pricing page on his website says that "Fiberglass stocks are no longer available."

His work is definitely worth the wait. I bought an unfinished semi inletted prone stock from him a couple years ago and had him fit an adjustable comb, butt plate and Anschutz rail. The stock finished out great and the fit of the hardware was flawless.

Very little sanding was needed to bring the surface up to "piano top" slickness plus Alex was very helpful in answering my questions on finishing and bedding the stock.

How did I miss that!? Right there in the first paragraph. Well I guess i will have to look elsewhere. Wish Robertson was still in business!

You might check out Kelbley's stocks. I just received one set up for F-class and am really pleased with it. Only took 6 months and it is exactly what I ordered. Kelbley's lets you pick the colors and they mix colors in the percentages you want if you want multiple colors. Hobie was who I talked to and he was very helpful.

I also have two of Alex Sitmans stocks in laminated wood and they are top notch. His bedding is the best I have ever seen. The wait is long but well worth it if you could get along with wood.

+1. Alex's bedding and stock work are things of beauty, and they shoot superbly. And yes, he's in high demand, so you will wait for it. But he's a true gentleman to deal with.

Alex's work isnt in question, i know he does great work, ive seen it first hand. The only thing i was really wanting to know is if he still made the gel coat stocks which it looks like he doesn't. Thanks for all the help guys!
