AB on Android Questions

Hi im having some trouble getting the app to to pick up atmosphere from station, is there a setting I need to change? I have another ballistic app that I was using prior to the purchase of AB which has no trouble connecting to station atmosphere. Hope you can help

Is you GPS turned on?

Is your device set to allow AB to use your GPS?

In the preferences from the weapons library screen do you have Automatic Atmosphere enabled?

Hi Doc, yeah all of these items are enabled. Ive tried at various locations as well but no joy with it. I have tried using a different ballistic app and have no issue getting atmosphere from station. I have been through the steps on a dvd disc i bought with Bryan explaining all the settings and cant fault what im doing.

Also doc this tab at the bottom of the screen with ballistic calibration does not appear in my app at all in either basic or advanced modes.

I am taking a shot in the dark here, but do you have a Galaxy S5?

If you do, hold the lower left button for more than 1 second. This will pop up the menus. Samsung moved the menu button to behind the recent apps button.

Excellent Doc i can get the menu working now but still no atmosphere from station matey.

And you have enabled automatic atmosphere and latitude from the preferences?

Yes Sir i certainly have. I have location/GPS enabled, I have Data enabled, I have tried with wifi enabled as well and every combination thereof. I have made sure that AB has permission to use data, I have tried various locations around the city i live in incase its not reaching a weather station. I have the shooter app also and im not having any trouble getting that app to get weather from station. All i keep getting is a message saying failed to get weather from station.
