Aaaaarghhh!! My new gun is delayed!!

After THIS thread I decided to get my model 700 chambered in .243 win. I have a new take off Remingtom factory laminated varmint stock I was going to pillar bed and use on the gun. I sent the action to the smith and told him I wanted a 26in 10in twist Krieger stainless barrel in Remington varmint contour to match the stock I had. He said no problem. 6 months later the gun arrives back and is completely wrong. He was supposed to bead blast the action and reblue it, he did not. And...it is completely the wrong contour!! He sent a krieger #18 contour which is not even close! I guess I will be waiting six more months. What was supposed to take 2 months is gonna take a year. Sorry, just had to rant.

Not that it will make you feel any better, but my new F-Class rifle arrived today, 13mths later. Cool I says. Then I email the gunsmith and ask how long for the reloading dies and neck turned brass,I'm not set up to do it well myself)and I haven't heard back but I'm not holding my breath. It's torture having this great rifle sitting there and not being able to use it. Patience is a virtue I'm told! I think shooters the world over must be very virtuous people! :angel:
