A tactical pen of my own

My take on the tactical pen. This the prototype & it's about ¾th done. I need to make the twist cap to extend & retract the actual pen.
Thee entire assembly is yellow brass & the cap will be 303 stainless steel. The pwn refill is a pilot G2 .
The pen body needs some more machining in the way of grips and the like then polished to a high luster.
What ya think?Resized_PART_1709493267861_Resized_20240303_140522.jpegResized_PART_1709493267721_Resized_20240303_140411.jpeg

One thing it is nice and much smaller than most of the Tactical pens on the market. That, too me, is a good thing, does not look threatening at all to carry.

My son made custom lens in college, it supported his needs at the time. Big demand, bigger than I realized anyways. It’ll be fun to see your creation when it’s completed!

What purpose does it have ? It's an ink pen you use it to write with. It could be used to fend off an aggressive person
Cost? I don't know, the lathe payed for its self years ago, the brass stock is from a job I did years ago, besides it doesn't matter, have you never manufactured anything of your own, because you could?
Did you ever watch knife fighting skills on YOUTUBE as taught in Phipino martial arts. You realy have to be trained to use a knife or pointed rod effectivley. A pen point in most cases wouldn't disable an opponent. It doesn't penetrate or cut.

Got stabbed in the hand with a pencil in 5th grade, the point is still in my hand. Anytime I get an xray near it I have to tell them about it,because they get all weird about it.
