I bought a used rifle and a previous owner had the bolt bushed and didn't do such a good job. I sent it to Greg and explained the situation and he did a repair in a reasonable amount of time.

I have had Greg do a lot of work for me on actions and bolts. All has been outstanding. I have received return emails from him on weekends, phone calls returned very quickly, and work done when promised.

Needed a riveted 40X extractor replaced, less than 7days, East coast to Colorado back to the East coast. Looking at the USPS tracking appears the package was received by GreTan on Friday, extractor replaced on Saturday, somehow mailed on Sunday received back on the East coach on Tuesday. Thanks fantastic service and I HAD NOT requested expedited service.

He has done 3 for me and It is just like you guys said. Fast, done right, and on time or sooner. He does more than make a smaller pin and a close fitting hole. The stock Remington firing pin when cocked is not held in the front of the bolt body. It floats around and when released has a taper section that guides it back to the firing pin hole in the front of the bolt face. Greg fixes all of that and the pin is captured by the bushing he installs in the bolt face.

Greg did great work for me also, and in record time! He also makes his version of the firing pins and springs which are superior to the stock ones! Great guy!

I have a bolt at his place being bushed now, actually called to find an answer and he answered the phone! Doesn't seem like much, but a lot of times, you never get to talk to " the man behind the curtain" He has my business in the future.....rsbhunter
